Job Summary:

The Supervisor Virtual Care Clinical Operations provides leadership and operational oversight for the day-to-day functions of their programs. Serves as a subject matter expert, supporting staff, troubleshooting, educating, and monitoring all responsibilities of the departments. The Supervisors will also collaborate to implement and refine operations related to the organization’s virtual care strategy. Due to the nature of virtual care operations, the Supervisor will be required to oversee activities outside of standard business hours, ensuring consistent quality and continuity of care. This includes providing on-site oversight and remote support during off-hours to maintain high standards of service delivery.

Job Responsibilities:

Supervise day-to-day operations of the virtual care programs and care coordination ensuring smooth, efficient and effective operations including off-hours and off-site oversight. Promote consistent, patient-centered workflows that support safe care delivery, efficient throughput, and effective transitions of care. Ensure adherence to all regulatory, organizational and clinical standards.

Identify and address any operational or technical barriers that impact the delivery of care, working cross-functionally to improve process and remove obstacles. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance care coordination services, focusing on patient outcomes, efficiency and staff performance. Provide insights and expertise to help develop and refine workflows, ensuring seamless integration of emerging technologies into the virtual care environment Participate in audits and quality reviews, recommending and implementing corrective actions as needed

Responsible for hiring, scheduling, counseling, and evaluating staff within the scope of the corporate standards, protocols, guidelines, policies and procedures. Foster a collaborative and supportive team culture, encouraging continuous learning and improvement.

Ensure appropriate staffing coverage to maintain continuity of care coordination services. Lead and mentor teams via staff meetings, staff rounding and leadership presence. Ensure compliance with mandatory education and certifications required.

Maintain accurate records of operational issues, troubleshooting actions and performance metrics to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. Prepare reports and presentations on program performance, highlighting key metrics.

Position Qualifications Required:

Required Experience: Minimum of 3 years of acute care nursing experience required. Experience working in an emergency department or intensive care unit setting, preferred. Ability to function independently and understand complex care management.

Required Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. BSN preferred.

Training /Certification / Licensure: Current State of New Jersey nursing license to practice as a registered nurse. Current CPR certification and BLS.

Annual Salary: $89,574 - $139,253 The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
