Summary:

Supervises staff to ensure effective multidisciplinary patient care.

Maintains clinical skills to provide patient service in area of clinical specialty.

Position Responsibilities:

• Supervises and clarifies performance expectations with staff and provides ongoing feedback, both verbal and written.

• Provides direct patient care in area of clinical specialty to meet departmental expectations and organizational need.

• Supports the manager in the development of a department-specific, strategic and operational plan.

• Serves as a team leader who maximizes performance in others and facilitates team collaboration.

• Effectively facilitates staff’s acceptance of and adaptation to departmental/operational changes.

• Works with the manager to clarify needs of customers. Provides quick, thorough and appropriate response to customer requests/complaints.

• Effectively communicates with patient and/or family/significant others, team members, medical and ancillary professionals to provide optimum quality patient care and effective operations.

Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:

Minimum of three (3) years in the profession including at least one (1) year in a similar setting.

Required Education:

Minimum of Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in clinical discipline (degree required for State licensure).

Annual Salary: $93,152 - $149,438 The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
