Summary:

Chamber Operator for Hyperbaric Therapy treatments to include preparation of patient and chamber for treatment, continuously monitoring patient during treatment, mechanical operation of chamber and patient care needs of hyperbaric therapy.

Position Responsibilities:

• Chamber Operation- Pressurization, Treatment, Decompression, cleaning, inspection, maintenance, daily quality log documentation, TCPO2 Testing.

• Patient Care- Safety checklist, patient evaluation  pre/post treatment, Blood sugar , vital signs,  wound measurements, patient monitoring, treatment documentation, patient education, provide wound care , assist RN/Wound Care Coordinators with patient visits & procedures.

• Quality performance, document review, safety checklists, stocking/ordering of unit supplies and HBO2 products.

Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:

1 year of LPN experience desired.

HBO2 Therapy experience desired.

Required Education:

HBO2 Training Program through accredited program desired.

BLS, High School/Equivalent Diploma.

LPN vocational graduate.

Training/Certifications/Licensure:

Licensed LPN in state of NJ.

Board Certification as HBO2 Technician within 1 year of hire desired (CHT).

HBO2 Training Program through accredited program required within 3 months of hire.

BLS certified.

Hourly Rate: $25.24 - $37.86 The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
